HUMANITIES In the ninth and tenth grades, students take humanities courses that combine English with global studies. In eleventh and twelfth grades, social studies courses include the content of junior and senior U.S. History and Government, Participation in Government, and economics while offering in-depth study of specific themes through the use of literary texts, project-based learning, arts integration, and class trips. The curricula and instructional focus of these and other courses have been and will continue to be shaped and developed by the staff and, of course, modified continuously to meet the needs of specific groups of learners.
